About the Work
This interactive media installation invited audiences to store their personal memories into a “machine” built with Arduino, projection, and video presentation. Through human–computer interaction, participants could walk through their memories, experiencing them as a shared, immersive journey. The work blended technology with storytelling, transforming intangible moments into a tangible, collective experience.
Results
The installation successfully engaged audiences by merging digital interactivity with emotional storytelling. Participants reported a sense of nostalgia and reflection as they walked through their own and others’ memories. The project demonstrated how interactive media can transform personal stories into collective experiences, highlighting the power of technology as a medium for memory, empathy, and connection.
